  • International Testing Agency

    Helen worked with the International Testing Agency in Lausanne, Switzerland to develop and deliver a new online professional development platform for an international sporting organisation. She supported the new organisation with strategic needs assessment, platform procurement, online learning programme design and implementation, and editorial content management, including multimedia direction and assessment design. The courses have now been used to train and qualify over 1000 doping control officers.

  • International Forum on Quality & Safety in Healthcare

    Helen’s relationship with the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare goes back to 2007, when she project managed the first satellite broadcast from the event since then she’s participated as a speaker, chair and host, as well as directing the programme, and designing networking activities. The annual Forum brings together over 2000 healthcare quality improvement experts from around the world, and has had a huge impact across many healthcare systems.

  • The Academy of Medical Sciences

    Part of the Academy’s Future Leaders in Innovation Enterprise and Research (FLIER) Cohort 3, Helen was identified in a rigorous selection process to join the prestigious group of Future Leaders in the biosciences. Undertaking leadership training and attending immersion experiences across government, academia and industry, Helen and her network of FLIERs are a significant force for change and impact across biomedical research. Helen has also undertaken speaking engagements on behalf of the academy.

  • BMJ Future Health

    Helen is part of the team that launched Future Health at BMJ, leading on the content of the event and webinars, and hosting the inaugural conference.

  • BMJ Global Health

    Interim Editor-in-Chief

    Working with a team of senior editors to publish the most important research and opinion in Global Health, as the journal recruited a new permanent Editor-in-Chief. Managing peer review, editing manuscripts for quality and impact, and designing and delivering new editorial workflows.
